Our team at AntiguaStreetz, we have seen them all. We’ve seen them boosted, we have seen them supercharged, we have seen them running nitrous oxide and even those in the N/A game. Since my description could stand for a lot of things let me be clearer. I am making reference to the Toyota Corolla Run-x. The 1.8 family hatch can be used as a deadly weapon when ready to the young sports enthusiasts here on the island. Antigua is home to some of the cleanest and sickly modded Run-x’s throughout the entire Caribbean Sea.

Our newest feature is possibly the most notorious of them all. Vaughn “Kulcha” Hazelwood. If you are a part of the (Antiguan) racing world, just the mere mention of his name you would hear, “that Run-x is insanely low” or “Kulcha love nitro bad” or “That Run-x sound like a dog barking”. But no matter what, you will get a response. Hence, why we definitely had to sought this bad-boy out for a feature write-up. This 2001 Toyota Run-x is easily identifiable when you see it. It is probably the only Run-x capable of pulling off the TRD complete lip kit look. With C-ONE wing tips and Eye lids and a mean stance from the TEIN Super Wagon coilover suspension; with the driver held tightly by the TRD Sport bucket seats, any person who loves cars would easily understand why this car stands out from the pack. The latest addition of a BLITZ complete supercharger system under the hood further places this machine into a class by itself.

We at AntiguaStreetz like to be creative, so to further prove how worthy this car was, we did what is known in Antigua as the Market Street stare test. If you are a local and love cars you would just laugh and think to yourself 'Kodie is an ass'. But you know you have done it too. The truth is, we all do it and we are guilty of having our ego boosted every time a girl stumbles on the steps while watching our machine... or that excited little kid tugging away from his mother to point out that’s his car... Or better yet: when high school is just about over and the car clique is walking down to the bus station you get the real as we in Antigua would say the REAL forward! Well the Run-x did just about everything and more than we bargained for. There were persons screaming and begging please let us hear the supercharger bark. Of course, if you know Kulcha, they didn’t even have to ask. Lol as to me, this was the main reason the car went supercharged.

All-in-all this car gets the streetz rating of 8/10 from the AntiguaStreetz community. We would have it no other way. From stance to performance this is a one-of-a-kind machine!
