Get the A&B Buzz - The Legacy Issue
For several month's the new online tourist publication A&B Buzz has been impressing people from around the world. The publication has been evolving in look and content... And judging by the view counts, is definitely gathering steam as a tool to present Antigua & Barbuda to visitors from the four corners of the planet.
Could it be — in part — because the publication's photography is looking great? It is very flattering to see our photography republished on the pages of A&B Buzz. Looking at back issues of the publication, between travel photos and client commissioned shoots, 365antigua.com and the MOMENT is CAPTURED photography nicely peppers the pages with images from our camera lenses.
To the publisher and team behind A&B Buzz, we at 365antigua.com tip our hats for a job well done. In future, we will be notifying our readership of each issue as it is published. As well, presenting our passion for the promotion of everything wonderful about Antigua & Barbuda, is a terrific compliment to our hard work. Even better is passing along the word to A&B Buzz readers where they can see more beautiful A&B images: right here on the pages of 365antigua.com. All the best with future issues. Here's to working as a team to present the best that Antigua & Barbuda has to offer; to the world.

The government press release presented with this issue...
In observance of Antigua and Barbuda’s 30th Anniversary of Independence, the Tourism offices in North America released the A&B Buzz Legacy issue. The November publication covers the destination’s Legacy of Hospitality and evolution as an independent nation, with highlights of the history, culture and people that have shaped the destination’s tourism product.
Among the features is “KNOW- vember: Get in the Know about A & B,” which lists the national symbols and factoids about the twin island destination. Another major article “The Legacy of Hospitality Past and Present” takes a look at the Scales family, former managers of the White Sands Hotel, Ken and Maureen, and their daughter Cheryl Carter, who now manages The Trade Winds Hotel. The Tourism Cadet Corps and Very Intimate Places (VIP) a group of locally owned properties are profiled among “Tomorrows Leaders in Hospitality.”
According to Derede Samuel-Whitlock, Director of Tourism for the USA, “The A&B Buzz has grown significantly in its appeal and readership since the re-launch of the eMagazine format last April. In this challenging environment, we have to keep agents engaged and equipped with the relevant information to competitively position Antigua and Barbuda. The BUZZ provides today’s travel specialists with the relevant information and the social media techniques to target consumers. The BUZZ has had significant impact and information is disseminated more quickly and efficiently. The multimedia format facilitates cost effective connectivity between the destination and the travel industry.”
The A&B Buzz is a core part of a new digital strategy launched by the North American Tourism offices. Presented in a lifestyle format, utilizing a multimedia combination of print, video and social media, A&B Buzz also features an online training forum for travel agents. The eMagazine targets travel specialists with weekly destination updates including special promotions and industry news to better promote and sell Antigua and Barbuda.
