This is part two of the photography from the first annual Jonathan Rohr Memorial Tinman Competition, on Sunday January 29th, 2012. This series of images presents the beginning of the competition, starting with the swim. Each swimmer need to complete two laps totalling 1.2 miles.

The contributing photographers to this series starts with Shelly Chadburn's brave startline shots from the water. Shawn SoShoot who courageously took his gear onto the boat, captured the athletes in the water.
