Sewsankar Says Farewell
After an impressive showing last week against Renegades, Wings fell asleep against Da Squad as the Antigua Vollegball Association League continued at the YMCA on Saturday night, February 27th.
Da Squad romped 25-3, 25-10, 25-7, to chalk up their first win in three outings. Jets and Paragons are the two leading teams in the femaie devision, to date. Wings will now come up against Stars on Friday night, March 5.
Meanwhile, Captain of Wings, Lisa Sewsankar will take flight this week to the USA where she will continue her studies. The young versatile musician, a graduate of the Antigua Girls High School, joined the Wings basketball and Voleyball teams less than six months ago. Her Great disposition, love for sports and leadership will be surely missed by all the members of the Wings whom she came in touch with.
The CPTSA wishes Lisa success in her endeavours and knows that she will still be monitoring the progress of the Wings volleyballs and basketball teams.
