Antigua Sailing Week
Reportedly one of the oldest premier sailing regattas held around the globe, Antigua Sailing Week welcomes participants who compete to take home the big prize in this prestigious race. Almost a week of solid racing in undoubtedly one of the best racing conditions found anywhere in the world, this event is not to be missed, even for sailing newbies.
The 43rd edition happens 24- 30 Apr 2010 and despite the loss of major sponsorships due to the ongoing global financial crisis, the event continues to receive welcome support from all stakeholders. A few changes this year, the popular Dickenson Bay Beach Bash will return after a years' absence and the mid-event lay day is also back on the cards. An additional day of racing will be a welcome addition for the more competitive boats.
Watch this space as we get closer to race day. Until then, visit the official website at www.sailingweek.com for details.
