Town House contributes to CPTSA
The Town House Mega Store has once again come to the support of the CPTSA Wings Sports Club.
Manager of the Mega Store, Mr. Edward Mansoor saw the wisdom of highlighting some of Antigua/Barbuda’s top athletes and programs of the CPTSA in its 2012 Calendar. Instead of using photos depicting other subjects foreign to Antigua/Barbuda, Mr. Mansoor was readily keen on the idea of promoting the country’s and CPTSA athletic programs and sports men and women. This is not the first time that Town House Mega Store has contributed to the CPTSA Wings Sports Club. The business has aided the Club over the years with items for its fundraising raffles and donation of kitchen utensils for its fundraising food sales.
CPTSA planning for 2012
The CPTSA Wings Sports Club is expected to hit the road running with its Program of Events for
2012. Representatives of the various sporting units met on Saturday, December 17, to add two events to its calendar. The Club will be seeking to stage its Sports Appreciation Award Ceremony on February 25. The Club wishes to honour those founding and past executive members of the CPTSA and coaches. The Club will meet again after the Christmas holidays to plan for the staging of a talent show to be held on March 31, 2012. The CPTSA will once again seek to produce its club magazine and this is expected to be out in time for the 12th Annual Gillian Brazier Basketball Shoot-Out, March 11, 2012. Meanwhile, the Club is in the process of producing its website during the early part of 2012. The Club already has a Facebook site.
