Roger the Jester visits Antigua's Museum - 28 Feb, 2010
It was a sea of rugrats down at the museum. Electricity was in the air as everyone anticipated the performance by visiting mime and acrobat, Roger the Jester. He wore mismatched socks and shoes, spun plates, juggled balls, spun rings on umbrellas and never made a sound. If he had, we probably wouldn't have heard it anyhow, since each antic was met with squeals of pure enjoyment both from the little ones and their parents. A couple volunteers from the audience learned how to balance spinning balls on sticks and throw rings high into the air (and land on Roger's head). All was done with a charm that was caught by everyone in the room. Even the coolest cat couldn't help but be caught up in hullabaloo. Thanks Rogers for a terrific show.
