The man of sound who brings Ibiza to Antigua... the man of Pacha...  the man who taps that vein which says "groove-dance-love-celebrate"...

It's Ministry of Sound's DJ Pippi. Perhaps you recall his first appearance in Antigua in 2011 when he hit the hit the decks at Abracadabra's thanks to the efforts of Offshore Music. It was the perfect nightclub cocktail of big club sound (the system at Abra's was pimped), a great crowd and the music mastery of DJ Pippi, who is a resident DJ in Ibiza at Pacha.

While DJ Pippi's website tags his work as World House, it simply doesn't describe the depth and diversity. He can change up the tempo, work in a brilliant percussion set, and can crank the energy on the dancefloor with skill and passion. DJ Pippi's groove has a more organic sound than past MOS talents such as Martin Roth. While DJ Martin Roth tapped the vein of trance, DJ Pippi leans more in the soulful house direction.

Hopefully you caught the last Offshore Music / Ministry of Sound installment recently presented at Abra's in English Harbour. As are all efforts by Torsten and team, it was da bomb, shaking palm trees as far away as... Shirley Heights.

This event will have Torsten Stenzel — a music giant on his own with multiple silver, gold and platinum CDs — spinning his veluptuous set. DJ Alan Russell of Black Vinyl Records will also be on the scene kicking up the dust.

Advanced tickets are available at Abracadabra's for $10.US. Tickets are $15.US at the gate. It kicks off at 11pm. There will be a Chillout Garden and some cool freebies so arrive early to get yours.
