Welcome to our Third Annual Antigua New Year's Eve Party Guide 2011. As we ring in 2012, it is always a special night to celebrate with friends and family. The below list of venues hosting dinners, parties and celebrations will expand as the days draw closer to the big night. To assist you in making your choice for NYE, we present the following events.

Sugar Ridge Resort

Location: Sugar Ridge just south of Jolly Harbour

This is the third Sugar Ridge Resort NYE party and expects to be a huge event. It will be fully involved in the celebrations, with all-inclusive dinner packages and party packages. There will be champagne and fireworks at midnight. Nocturnal Premium All-Inclusive

Location: Sand Piper Hotel, lower Crosbies

Every year this party gets bigger and better and 2011 is no exception to the rule.  Tickets are still $150 in advance which grants access to the fully premium all-inclusive NYE event. 200 feet of unsinkable bar space including champagne, shots and cocktail bars. Food is catered by The Larder & Sweet Potato. Beach loungers and complementary beach slippers for ladies, bonfire and fireworks display, lots of dance crews, AND plenty of prizes courtesy of Digicel. Cloggy's Café

Location: Antigua Yacht Club
Time: 6pm to late
Cost: $80.US

Entertainment: DJ Woody
The team at Cloggy's will be serving up a special menu which will include the Cloggy's high standard of food preparation. Once dinner is finished, DJ Woody will be on the decks spinning lots of great chunes, late into the night. 365 says: Ton, DJ Woody and crew always have a great time with a friendly, pub party night. Not being a massive club crush is part of the appeal.

Abrcadabra NYE party

Location: English Harbour

Restaurant le Zest

Location: Red Hill, Willoughby Bay (click for map)

Formerly Alberto's Restaurant le Zest is newly opened this past November. Their NYE dinner menu is french. Lobster salad starts, with other brilliant items that include watercress soup, wahoo, crispy duck and more. Castaways

Location: Jolly Beach
Time: 6pm to 3am
Cost: tapas starters, starts at $13.ec, plates start at $40.ec
Entertainment: fireworks at midnight
South Beach Jolly Harbour's finest dining experience.  The tapas experience begins at 7pm and includes curried lobster, seafood linguini, stuffed steak, garlic ribs, callaloo, sushi, duck - hey it's all international at Castaways! Call for reservations 562-4446.

Catherine's Cafe

Location: Antigua Slipway
Time: 8pm to 11:30pm
Cost: varies with dinner menu to be announced
Entertainment: fireworks on the water

Eyes Wide Shut Society - Ole Year's Night

Location: Barnacle Point, St. John's
Time: 10pm to 5am

La Bussola New Year's Eve Dinner

Location: Runaway Bay

A countdown to 2012 with merriment, cheer, and Italian culinary feasting in beautiful Runaway Beach. Exclusive menu a la carte wih a champagne toast at midnight. La Tartaruga NYE Dinner

It is a seafood delight with wahoo and lobster starters, a mixed seafood spaghetti which includes calamari, mussels and clams. The main is a deliciously breaded, fresh-caught snapper. Gibson's Beach Bar New Year's Dinner Party

Location: 2 miles of south of Jolly Harbour, Crabbe Hill

Southern Cross Italian Restaurant

This is the party after the party. It's the party for all the industry people who had to work on NYE, it's a party for mature audiences only.
