Promotion for THE SKIN'S premiere which was held on June 2nd, 2011.

With much anticipation from the public, Hamafilms will be presenting their cinematic supernatural thriller, The Skin, this Thursday June 2nd, 2011. The feature length film has been in the works for years and a labour of passion for Executive Producers Howard Allen, Mitzi Allen and First Run Entertainment.

Production began in July 2009 with Howard Allen as the writer and director, S. Torriano Berry as the Director of Photography, Mitzi Allen as the Producer and Kaiso Joe executing the special effects. Shot in Antigua and Barbuda, the cast is a united nations of talented actors from Jamaica, the UK, Canada and Antigua & Barbuda.

Thanks to much support from the community and many hours of hard work in post production, The Skin is ready to present to the public.

The Premiere of The Skin will take place at the Paramount Theatre at Deluxe Cinema. Prior to the screening at 6pm there will be cocktails and mingling with the Hamafilms team, followed by the screening at 7pm. To RSVP, please call 562-4896 or hama@candw.ag. Elegant attire is requested.

The Skin is Caribbean Mythology. Set in Antigua & Barbuda, it tells the thrilling tale of a young couple who encounter strange occurrences after they find and sell an ancient artefact. Antiguan audiences in particular will enjoy The Skin as uses many beautiful and familiar locations in Antigua and Barbuda as well as more than a few familiar faces.
