Enjoy a good shipwreck at the Museum
The Museum of Antigua and Barbuda and the Desmond V. Nicholson Fund invite everyone to the launch of the re-print of Shipwrecks and Other Marine Mishaps - partially funded by Sir Hugh Bailey, taking place Thursday February 2nd, 5pm at the Museum's upstairs gallery.
A rare evening of maritime history awaits you as multi-media presentations on the epic 1976 voyage of The Freelance to the Bicentennial in the USA with Captain Sir Hugh Bailey and Caribbean Vessels Through Time, narrated by Dr. Reg Murphy will be shown .
Entrance to this fascinating event is FREE. Refreshments will be served. Donations — however modest — are welcomed for the Desmond V. Nicholson Fund. The Museum thanks you for preserving the past to enrich the future.
