H2O - The Wet Fete
It is with great pride and pleasure that we at Arrive Alive Promotions announce the 3rd installment of our annual H20 Wet Fete. Scheduled for Friday July 6th, 2012 we promise an experience different from any other fete for the season.
This year we have decided to take a different approach, we will not only focus on SOCA music but introduce the sweet party vibes of DANCEHALL music. Dubbed with the slogan “Dancehall meets Soca” we anticipate drawing a larger and more diverse crowd.
On the lineup this year is award winning Dancehall artist Mr. Vegas from Kingston Jamaica. Vegas is known worldwide for his catchy dancehall melodies directed mostly towards the ladies. He also has a few Soca collaborations with artiste such as Machel Montano and Destra Garcia. In addition, on the line up are Antigua's top artistes such as Tian Winter, Claudette Peters, Jashan Hughes and Promise no Promises with an array of local sounds and Djs, and the 3 Cylinders to complete the jam.
The usual water attractions (foam, water trucks) will be present this year along with some additional props: water balloons, water guns , two pools situated directly in front of the stage on the night and much more. With all this said H20 is anticipated to surpass the hype from the previous years.
