Art lovers will have an opportunity to view works of art by students from the Antigua State College, as well as photo art work by Zia and Gemma Hazelwood at the first Art in the Quay show to be held on two Saturdays, December 17 and 24 in Redcliffe Quay from 4PM to 8PM.

This event is being sponsored by C&C Winehouse and is an opportunity for visitors to the Quay to see the students' work, get Christmas gift ideas as well as help raise funds for the students Art tour of New York in 2012.

A spokesperson for C&C states that the Art in the Quay show will add a special touch to this historical area and at the same time help the students achieve their goal. "We also feel that the Quay lends itself as an ideal location to show case such an event and allow persons to see the kind of art work and art photography that is available here. We are really excited about the show and hope to raise a substantial amount of money."

The Art in the Quay show will be displayed along the main entrance and courtyard area of  Redcliffe Quay.

Mark Brown, Art tutor at ASC added that this event will give the students a chance to show their work to a larger audience and also thanked C&C for planning this event.

Visitors will have an opportunity to speak to some of the young artists and as well as donate towards their travel fund.
