The island of Antigua is home to a man whose talents leave his audiences amazed and entertained. PRINCE ODADA’s show is literally one of the HOTTEST shows on the Island of Antigua. It is a show you just can’t miss.  As he Dances and Wines to the strong pulsating Caribbean and African music  you can feel his energy. The audience claps and cheers him along as he skillfully negotiates the limbo bar which is blazing with fire.  Pure Showmanship and incredible flexibility are his trademarks which come from over 20 years of experience. His moves are smooth and strong, sexy and sensual. PRINCE ODADA is simply amazing. We are going take a deeper look in to who PRINCE ODADA is and find out more about him and how he came to be.

So how did you begin?

It all started for him as a break dancer performing throughout the Caribbean and several select engagements in Europe representing Antigua. In 1988 he decided to pick up another style and really hit the limelight. He wanted to perform contemporary acts with Caribbean and African influences. He put together Savage entertainment. Members of that group were: Nassir Harris (aka PRINCE ODADA), Nzinga (Brenda) Pelle, Jefferson Augustus (aka Super Jeff), Robert Mascal (aka Mr. Moves), Alfred Bluchere (aka Armstrong) and Steve Jarvis. One of the routines that they wanted to perform was the limbo show. He spoke with Gordon Defour an exceptional Limbo dancer who was currently performing in the hotels around Antigua. Gordon graciously passed on his knowledge to PRINCE ODADA and the rest is history. Savage entertainment burst on to the scenes with costumes, colours, acrobatics and dancing never before seen in Antigua. Many people still remember the shows and say their shows were the best they had ever seen and there hasn’t been anything like it thus far.

Eventually the group members went their separate ways but several of them can still be seen performing individually at times in the country. Prince ODADA mastered the art of Fire Eating and the Limbo. A true artist. Performing is in his blood. He is sought after at all of the major hotels and hired for many private events. Recently he performed for a Russian millionaire and his party who docked their yacht on the beach to see PRINCE ODADA perform whilst hosting a private party.

Other Highlighted performances were at:

• Sugar Ridge for Aidan McCauley’s (the owner) 40^th birthday party
• Sandals Antigua where Savage entertainment performed for the opening of the hotel
• Bordeaux France in their annual Arts festival
• Prince Edwards Island in Canada with the Jam X band.
• He has even done his Limbo show on the streets of Broadway in NYC for the general public.

A notable moment was when Savage Entertainment visited another Caribbean island to fellowship with other Dancers and Drummers in a similar group. At first the performers snubbed them believing that they were there to get something from them. When the leader of the dance group became curious he invited them to perform on one of the regular shows. Savage Entertainment tore up the show and subsequently they were embraced by the group. Amazing an audience has always been the standard for Prince ODADA.

Solo Career.

After migrating to the US to in 2001 to pursue a degree in Naturopathic medicine PRINCE ODADA began his Solo career. He continues to perform throughout the US most notably in NY, Boston, Florida, and California whenever a private function hires him. Antigua is still home to Dr. Nasir Harris (PRINCE ODADA). He currently performs at Sandals Antigua, St. James Club. Jolly Beach, and various private functions.
