Cuban-born author of A Caribbean Journey from A to Y Mario Picayo is on a 30-day tour of 16 islands and he will be in Antigua on Friday, December 30, 2011 to spend time with our children. 

Children and their parents are invited to hear him read at 5:30PM at the Best of Books Village Walk branch on Friars Hill Road. Picayo will also be showing off another book Efa and the Mosquito by Antiguan-born, St. Croix, V.I. resident Alscess Lewis-Brown.

There is no charge for this amazing experience but children and parents are encouraged to bring a non-perishable food item and/or an inexpensive toy that will be passed on to less fortunate children on the Feast of Three Kings.

Children of all ages will enjoy Mario’s performance.
