Island B-Hive Sports Bar gets things buzzing with the launch of its book-of-the-month club. 

Come and join the discussion and travel the Caribbean on the pages of a book. In the view of management, it’s an opportunity to be entertained while discovering the versatility of our literary artistes; an opportunity to embrace our culture a bit more while perhaps getting to know ourselves a little better.

The Club will meet once a month, focussing initially on books by Caribbean writers in all genres, historical romance to science fiction; with the possibility of expansion to other types of literature down the road. First up is Antigua’s own, The Boy from Willow Bend by renowned author Joanne Hillhouse.

To get started, purchase a copy of the book, read it, and come prepared to discuss at the first book club meeting on the evening of Thursday, May 6th, 6-8:00PM in the unique and friendly atmosphere of the Island B-Hive Sports Bar, located in Heritage Quay. There’ll be food and good company, plus the author will be on hand to participate in the discussion. The new club members will collectively decide on the month’s next book and proceed from there.  Come, enjoy.
