Speak ~ by Marseilla Jardine
Talk is cheap and overrated Nothing more is misused than words and the meaning they bring. So I speak…
Words lose meaning with no strength behind No muscle No passion. So I speak…
I speak knowing I won’t be heard that my drowning voice will attack your memory and spoken word lives…
Many days I am quiet I have nothing to say I keep these words bottled up so that I can speak…
Speak up I say. Speak loud. Speak clear. Speak strong. Speak long. Speak words of the heart and mind. Speak not truth but passion, it gets more attention…
Lay it down, don’t hide or hold back. Let these words damage. Let them ring as I speak that who I am when I speak is who I really want to be…
As I speak I tell an untold story known to myself only. I speak up hoping that this story can be in history, written, not forgotten, that I spoke…
They heal, they harm. Words are my knight and shining armour, with them I speak and cut across nothing that can't be touch. I kiss them, they fill me up as I speak, they spill out so that I can be heard that my voice can be felt…
I speak for the times we couldn’t, the times our tongues were numb with hatred and greed. I speak so that the empty ness inside fades away so that no matter how loud this world gets my words are heard and understood. Heard with your ears, understood with your mind, accepted by your heart. I speak…
I speak not hearing the others around me. I speak. Wishing all would fade away, that my words would triumph in this dark, speechless world…
Fighting them makes it worse; they will only spill out dying for attention. So speak, let not your mind be heavy and your heart weary, be at peace with your words, just speak…
Speak knowing its right. Speak understanding the power behind your words. Speak asking your self how else can you be heard…
Speak…
Turning fears down and tears held back, speak. Shout it if you have to, just speak. Brake down walls of doubt and neglect and speak. Nothing can be gained until you speak. Nothing can be said until you speak. Many may ask why, they will want to know your cost. But your reply can simply be I want to speak, so I speak…
Spoken words will be remembered but a still tongue will hurt. Speak...

Marseilla's testimonial
’Poetry is the crown of literature’; I do believe this with every bone in my body. People will ask why do you write and my answer is simple I was born to. I fell in love with it from Primary school and I haven’t stopped since, I’ve been thorough a lot but poetry, spoken word and writing is all me, it comes natural.
Marseilla's bio
Marseilla Jardine, also known as MJ, that’s what I currently go by. I am free spirited and passionate. At the age of 21 years I am a mother of 2. I love speaking, when the world judges me, the way I speak and articulate myself proves that I am a force to be reckoned with. My dreams are to be an English teacher; I do really believe that a mind is most definitely a terrible thing to waste.
