Addiction ~ by Marseilla Jardine
Many times my legs feel like mine. They obey me and understand what I feel. Other times I know what I am doing and I wish not to control or understand it.
My body feels subjected to it. It creeps in and stays as I want it to. My body enjoys the ride and nothing more, it takes me away.
I am known here. My scars color this unwanted world, purple. Feed me until I’m fat, you’re all that I want and nothing more. I am one with you, I answer to your calls, you shout for me.
I feel that itch, that craving for you. Why should we part, why must the only thing that understands me be my enemy? May not ever be filled, I’ll always be hungry. But I like it, because you will never turn me away, you will never neglect me.
My addiction to you claims me, I am forever yours…
My body runs and skips in the name of love. In the name of love I enjoy each moment with you, I am happy with you. Tears fill me up knowing you’re here for me.
Every time we meet it’s different. With you every high is the 1st, every touch is true. I come home to an empty house but you have filled it, with scents and taste, I am not alone with you.
The fighting may stop, may continue but I know you can’t leave me. You’re here for the long haul. I have proven that I am all you got. But I question if I need you more than you need me.
They all have left me, turned on me. But I have you, you’re all I need. You’re all I seek. This is my world; you and I have conquered it.
My addiction to you claims me, I am forever yours.
I can’t and will not go with out you. Please don’t ever leave. This is your home, here with me. Control me, I am your slave, your wish is my desire. Make me beg and ask for it now, as I wait for my high to come along.
You’re my un-costly addiction, but what am I to you. Just a pawn in your bigger game? I enjoy it, I enjoy you.
My addiction to you claims me, I am forever yours….
’Poetry is the crown of literature’; I do believe this with every bone in my body. People will ask why do you write and my answer is simple I was born to. I fell in love with it from Primary school and I haven’t stopped since, I’ve been thorough a lot but poetry, spoken word and writing is all me, it comes natural.
Marseilla Jardine, also known as MJ, that’s what I currently go by. I am free spirited and passionate. At the age of 21 years I am a mother of 2. I love speaking, when the world judges me, the way I speak and articulate myself proves that I am a force to be reckoned with. My dreams are to be an English teacher; I do really believe that a mind is most definitely a terrible thing to waste.
