It was Ché's birthday and we wanted to do something a bit different from the usual birthday fun. A boat excursion immediately came to mind so we coordinated with Eli, booked his catamaran and crew for a day at sea. What a fantastic day it was. For starters the crew was excellent with the gang of excited youngsters. We arrived at Great Bird Island. We hiked, snorkeled, swam, talked about snakes, birds, the coral reefs and other eco topics. The terrific lunch Eli's team served had us stuffed. But we all made room for a delicious chocolate birthday cake.

On the trip home, we stopped at Maiden Island to collect shells. The sails went up and before we knew it we were back on the mainland. Thanks to the entire crew. Everyone had loads of fun. It was a birthday party Ché won't soon forget.
