The Jolly Harbour Golf Club and Al Porto restaurant are combining forces to bring you a "golf and dine" event on the last day in February. All foursomes are invited at a cost of $150 per person which includes the green fees, a golf cart and buffet dinner at Al Porto. Prizes will be given out at the end of the day. This is the second in the series of monthly hikes dedicated to showcasing Antigua's natural beauty. Moments in Nature is for lovers of nature and those who wish to learn more about their cameras. Robby Breadner, a professional photographer leads these hikes and gives on-site training for those who bring their DSLR cameras. The hikes cost a mere $20/person with all proceeds going to the Environmental Awareness Group. Rumour has it that there is a beautiful waterfall right here in Antigua, nestled somewhere in the depths of Christian Valley. Well, if you missed the inaugural Moments in Nature hike, this one will fulfil your need for exercise, fresh air, picture-taking tips and a bit of bragging rights once you come upon what may be Antigua's only waterfall. The hike starts at 7:30 am and is approx. 2-3 hrs long. Bring water and a snack, wear sunscreen and good running or hiking footwear (no sandals).
