Spring Break Antigua 2010

The first ever Spring Break Antigua is full of music, nightlife and other events.

How are you gonna spend Spring Break?

Viscount Enterprises Ltd. presents its inaugural Spring Break Antigua 2010. The company, formed by indigenous Antiguas, aims to introduce quality entertainment opportunities to Antigua and Barbuda and its first event, Spring Break Antigua is from March 19th – April 4th, with a warm-up beginning March 15th at 7PM - New Moon Party. All events are happening at Ffryes Beach, just off Valley Rd, near Darkwood on the south-east side of the island.

Spring Break Antigua hopes to draw post-secondary students from around the world; however, Viscount is also seriously targeting regional and local individuals who are seeking daily entertainment during the period of the year when entertainment offerings on the island are traditionally low-level. “One of the things that VISCOUNT wishes to do is promote local entertainment that will appeal to the masses,” says Cynthia Laviscount of Viscount, “We have booked the best and hottest local bands, DJs, and sound systems on the island. Further, we also seek to assist other artistes interested in getting their music heard by the masses.”

Entry to events during March 15-18th is free, and a paid bar will be available. From March 19th - April 4th, entrance fee for nights without live performances is $10, but an array of the island’s best DJs will be onboard to provide a medley of genres from house to reggae pleasing every musical taste.

Spring Break Antigua is offering tertiary level students of Antigua and Barbuda the opportunity to purchase advanced tickets to the major events (Friday, 19th March and Saturday, 20th March) at a discounted price of $20. Tickets purchased at the gate are $30.

Daily Spring Break Beach Side Entertainment: is 1-5PM Monday to Friday, with beach side competitions like beach volleyball, cricket, soccer, and games. DJ’s will be providing an array of musical entertainment and bars and snackettes will also be available.

From 7PM to 2AM Monday to Thursday, live performances and DJ’s will be on tap during themed parties, with bar specials and snackettes. For more info about Spring Break Antigua, call 268-462-1800, or visit the website, www.myspringbreakantigua.com and www.facebook.com/springbreakantigua
