Camp GROW 2013
Camp GROW is a 2-week children's summer day camp organised by the EAG and the Gilbert Agricultural and Rural Development (GARD) Centre. Camp GROW provides an opportunity for children, ages 8-11, to have FUN while learning about the WORLD around them.
Over the span of two weeks campers will:
- DISCOVER and EXPLORE the unique ecology of Antigua and its offshore islands
- Build a foundation in ENVIRONMENTAL and AGRICULTURAL principles
- Develop TEAM-WORK and CRITICAL THINKING skills and tap into their CREATIVITY with exciting craft projects using RECYCLED and NATURAL materials.
Due to the immense popularity of Camp GROW, registration for this year's camp will be a lottery. In order to be eligible for the lottery and attendance to Camp GROW, you must have all your camper's forms submitted by June 28th. You will be contacted by July 12th to be updated on your camper's registration status.
