Keon Armstrong (St. John’s Lutheran) and Lilly Mae Thomas (St. Anthony’sSecondary) were both success in their bid to claim the boys and girls 12 & under title at this weekend’s SASS (St. Anthony’s Secondary School) Jr. Tennis Tournament.

St. Anthony’s Secondary School (SASS) in collaboration with Samantha’s Tennis held its first Jr. Tournament on its courts, Saturday 8th Dec, 2012.  Over 25 Under 12 juniors were present as the tournament kicked off.

In the boys finals, Keon Armstrong (St. John Lutheran) got the better of Aron Fields (St. Andrews Primary) ousting him with a 4-0;  Identical results came in the girls competition as Lilly Mae Thomas defeated Devon Wuilliez 4-0.

Tournament director Ms. Samantha Johnson was pleased with the turnout and encouraged the athletes to continue to work hard in
preparation for 2013 local competition season.

The ABTA 2013 tennis season kicks off on 12th January 2013 with The Rupert K. Henry Tennis 10s Tournament, immediately followed on 26th January with the Under 14 open competition.
