Wings Youth Footballers Earn Respect in BVI
The Wings Youth Football team returned to Antigua on August 17th, feeling a great sense of confidence despite their 1 and 3 games result in Tortola over the weekend.  The Wings U-13 put up a fight throughout their four games tour against the BVI National U-14 team.

Antiguan Atheletes Do Well at First Youth Olympics
Tahir Walsh sped to a 4th place finish in the Boys 100M finals on Saturday, August 21st, at the Bishan Stadium in Singapore. Walsh finished in a time of 10.71 behind David Bolarindwa of Britain and Masaki Nashimoto of Japan.

Dejah Off to Turkey
According to Carl Knight, co-ordinator in the Ministry of Sports, the Antigua/Barbuda Basketball Association in conjunction with the Schools Basketball Program, will be sending a small delegation to the Children of the World Festival during the World Basketball Championships in Istanbul, Turkey.
