Celebrating Antigua’s own 4th fastest man in the world

Come cheer on Daniel ‘Bakka’ Bailey at the Sir Vivian Richards Cricket stadium, at 7:30pm this Sunday.

This Sunday September 6th is the big day as Antigua's own, Daniel ‘Bakka’ Bailey returns home to his nation and a huge celebration. Antigua has been watching as Daniel continues post incredible times on the 100m track.

At present, Daniel is the world's fourth fastest man, but he will be slowing down this Sunday for his well deserved heroe's welcome. Antigua will be celebrating Daniel's arrival with a free concert open to the public to get a chance to see Daniel and cheer on their biggest sprinting hero.

Daniel Bailey's Organizing Committee presents this homecoming celebration. Daniel arrives at the airport at 5pm, where he will be met by family, friends, fans and media. A police escorted motorcade will proceed to Sir Vivian Richards Cricket Stadium for his welcoming ceremony at 7:30pm.

Musical artists Drastic, Blade, Young Destroyer and Claudette CP Peters will be performing for the free concert. The event is sponsored by Global Bank of Commerce Ltd., Supreme Security, Xcellent Sports News, Stonewall & the Antiguan Govt.
