The Summer Project is still raising funds to assist Summer Brumant as well as other sickle cell sufferers in Antigua and Barbuda.  Please support them at the following events:

1) Monthly Bake Sales
Have a sweet tooth or a severe case of the munchies? That's fantastic! Because we have the remedy. On Saturday, November 7th, at 9:00a.m., The Summer Project will be holding its monthly bake sale outside the Epicurean supermarket. Get your cakes, pies, brownies, cookies and other sweet treats and win cool prizes in our side draw. 2) 50/50 Raffle
Dubbed the "Don't Throw Your Box Money Raffle", we anticipate that the raffle will be a huge success. The total prize pool, if all tickets are sold, will be EC$50,000. The winner will receive 50% of the pot, while the other 50% will go towards The Summer Project. Tickets went on sale effective Friday, September 25th, 2009. The draw will be held on Tuesday, December 15th, 2009 and will be televised. Tickets can be collected from any member of The Summer Project. Community First Co-operative Credi Union

As part of our 50th Anniversary Celebrations, Community First Co-operative Credit Union is having a Golden harvest activity in the month of November where members and the general public are being asked to donate non-perishable food items in our golden harvest barrel in the main hall. These items will then be distributed to organisation established to help the needy.

The Credit union is also having a permanent shares drive to increase our capital base in the months November, December and January. Existing members and new members are being asked to purchase a minimum of 50 permanent shares as it is our 50th anniversary, at the cost of E.C $250.00.
